Crafting Memorable Experiences Policies
At MJS Curated Events, every experience is intentionally designed and thoughtfully executed. To ensure clarity and a seamless planning process, please review our booking policy below. Each event is thoughtfully planned and subject to the terms and conditions outlined in your signed contract.
Securing Your Date
A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to secure your event date. Dates are not considered reserved until both are received. Retainers are applied toward the total cost of services.

Payment Schedule
Payment plans may be available depending on the scope of services. All balances must be paid in full no later than fourteen days prior to the event date unless otherwise stated in your contract. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in a pause or cancellation of services.

Retainer and Fees
All retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. Fees cover creative planning, design development, vendor coordination, and administrative time, which begin immediately upon booking.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
Client-initiated cancellations forfeit the retainer and any payments made to date. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made in writing. Additional fees may apply depending on timing and scope changes.

Event Changes
Any changes to the event scope, guest count, design elements, or timeline must be submitted in writing. Significant changes may require a revised proposal and additional fees.

Vendor Payments
MJS Curated Events may act as a liaison with third-party vendors but is not responsible for vendor performance. Vendor deposits and payments are subject to each vendor’s individual policies.

Design Ownership
All custom designs, concepts, layouts, and creative materials produced by MJS Curated Events remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide timely communication, accurate information, and approvals as requested to ensure smooth execution. Delays in communication may impact the planning timeline and final event outcome.
Force Majeure
MJS Curated Events is not liable for events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, acts of God, government restrictions, or emergencies. In such cases, rescheduling options will be discussed when possible.

Acceptance of Policy
By booking with MJS Curated Events, clients acknowledge and agree to this booking policy and all terms outlined in their signed contract.
